Despite the name, Maserati isn’t sending the new Grecale to Mars. Instead, the automaker is bringing Mars to the Maserati drivers. The mysteries of Mars spurred the imagination of the Maserati designers and engineers, so they designed a Grecale that honors Martian exploration. Mission From Mars Features on the Maserati Grecale

The newest Maserati is available in the Mission from Mars edition. This unique trim features Galactic Orange special textured metallic paint inspired by mineral dust and metal erosion. It also has chrome red-gold windows and air vents paired with a space-age set of Vortex Wheels. The Trident logo on the C-pillar has a unique glitching effect. Maserati also adds a special edition metal exterior badge that looks like a part of the Mars Rover.

Other exterior features on the 2022 Maserati Grecale Fuoriserie include a unique decal along the bottom of the door panels. The decal includes the Maserati logo and the Mission from Mars trim name and the location of Mars on the 60th anniversary of the first mission.

Another unique feature shows up on November 28, 2024, when the sunroof graphics celebrate the 60th anniversary of the first spacecraft to visit Mars. The sunroof also features a star chart of the constellations near the Red Planet, so Grecale owners know where to look to see it on the anniversary date.

The interior features Black Alcantara seats with ice leather side bands and exclusive elements that remind drivers of the space suits from early astronauts and the electric currents on the Red Planet. The steering wheel includes the red-orange metal accents for intergalactic motorists on Mars, and the massive 12.3-inch touchscreen harkens back to the space program.
